We will look at each sample pack and give a basic overview, an in-depth look at some key features, and my overall thoughts. Towards the end of the article, I will talk about my favorite sample packs on the list to help you decide which ones you’d like to pick up.

This is the first and one of the only sample packs on this list to focus solely on the Hip Hop subgenre that is LoFi. This pack is huge, with over 2.75GB of samples within. So you get all you need to start creating LoFi beats within.

The Vinyl effects are especially nice, as you can’t have a LoFi beat without a few Vinyl effects thrown in

Keep Calm, and LoFi gives you 196 Drum loops to add to your track. You get 36 full Drum loops and 160 stems from the full loops. Including the stems is a nice feature, as it allows you to mix and match specific parts from the full loops or use specific elements you like in your drum patterns. These stems consist of Kicks, Snares, Hi-hats, Toms, Top loops, and other percussive elements
Summary:
Keep Calm and LoFi does the LoFi genre well. All the melodic elements, especially the pre-processed loops, are perfect for LoFi. Most of the sounds within this pack come ready to be loaded with little to no processing needed, which will speed up your workflow. The extra features like MIDI files, Scratch Loops, One-shots, Chopped Melody Loops, and all the other features elevate this pack above most of the others on this list.
6. Producer Loops Cinematic Hip Hop Vol. 3

Cinematic Hip Hop Vol 3 is a collection of construction kits from Producer Loops.
This sample pack is the third iteration of the successful series of Cinematic Hip Hop sample packs, so it has a lot to live up to. You get everything you’d expect from a construction kit sample pack, like all the stems and extra Drum one-shots.

Cinematic Hip Hop is a collection of construction kits, so it’s clear that these kits are the focus. Within, you will find five full construction kits ready for you to dissect, remix, use for inspiration, and load into your tracks. In addition, all the loops within these kits are labeled with BPM and Key for your convenience.
- 45 MIDI Files
One of the best extra features of this sample pack is MIDI files. These MIDI files are good because they allow you to control your sounds; you aren’t limited by the sound selection from a loop maker like you are when using loops. You get MIDI files for Chords, Melodies, Counter Melodies, Drums, and more.
- Dry/Wet Loops
For more freedom when using the loops within this sample pack, you get the option for both Dry and Wet loops. This allows you to either process the loops yourself with more freedom and control over the sound or load in the pre-processed loops to save time. Not only is this good for producing in general but for less experienced producers can use this feature to learn how people process sounds and what effects they add.
Summary:
Although this sample pack is smaller than most on this list, it does what it set out to do. The five construction kits are perfect for the cinematic Hip Hop genre, and the extra MIDI files and the option for Dry/Wet loops give it extra worth.
7. Lofi Hip Hop Drums 2

A follow-up to Keep Calm and LoFi listed previously on this list is LoFi Hip Hop and Drums 2 by Apollo Sounds.
LoFi Hip Hop and Drums 2 is one of the only sample packs on this list to focus solely on Drums. As a result, there are no melodic loops within this sample pack, but don’t let that put you off. This sample pack excels with its drum selections.

- Over 440 Drum Samples
Being a Drum focused sample pack, it makes sense that there are many Drum samples within. Therefore, you get 220 clean and 220 processed Drum samples. This is a great feature as it lets you get creative with the clean files or save time and processing power with the pre-processed files. All these Drum samples have been curated and designed for LoFi, but you can be sure they will work well within any genre beats.
- 40 MIDI Files
To go nicely with your Drum samples, you get 40 MIDI files. These MIDI files are all Drum patterns and designed to be LoFi Drum patterns, but that doesn’t mean they won’t work well with other genres. When using the MIDI files with the clean Drum samples, you essentially get a blank slate to work with when creating your ideal Drum loops.

For those producers who want to drag and drop some premade loops into your tracks quickly, then there are 293 loops ready for you.
